J C ALEXANDER. My neighbors called him J C but I called him Dad Alexander. In time I came to find out this man was a man of God. A family man. A disciplined man in civilian life as he was in the military. Definitely a no nonsense Man. I needed a father figure and Mr Alexander fit that 100%. This man was physically strong and mentally tough. If all of America’s kids were raised under Dad Alexander what a great society we could have. He could easily have been known as America’s Dad. A blessed life indeed.

Wow! Where do I start? Rest in Peace. Rest in Power. Cousin JC Alexander. I am so proud to have met you 2 years ago. We matched our genealogy with Ancestry.com and 23 and Me. You said that I looked like your mother, Lillie Abernathy. Awe, that was sweet of you to say. I wish that it would have been sooner. In the short period of time that I have been in the family know, we made some fond memories. I enjoyed your birthdays and military honor celebrations. You are our Super Hero. I love you. Thank you for loving me. ✌🏽🕊🙏🏽☝🏽💜💐🤗 Cousin Denise

Once again we pause to pay tribute to a loved one who has lifted the veil that hides the mystery of Eternal Life!! Often as one of our loved ones (Dad Alexander), has passed the light for a brief moment has shone across our path!! But our Sorrow for Dad Alexander will sometimes in those quiet moments blind us to the fact he is resting in Jesus!! We may forget the Glory of our Lord when He will descend from the Clouds to receive Dad Alexander and All the Faithful departed ones who will precede us that are still alive to meet Jesus in the Clouds to spend Eternity!! J.C. Alexander was an amazing man. So many times I have remarked to Alice that God has probably thrown the mold away when he made J.C. Alexander!! There are only two other men that I knew that possessed his strength of character, his intelligence, his ability to put a seed into the earth and cultivate it, so that beauty would arise from it; in the form of brightly colored, healthy vegetables and fruit!! Interestingly, that is exactly how he and his wife raised their family!! The fruit is obvious just look at his children and grandchildren!! All of them are professionals and hardworking, God fearing, wonderful people!! They have all been blessed with Dad Alexander’s pure determination to succeed in this world, whatever they need to do!! His handsome face, his tall statuesque build, and that contagious smile that we can never forget!! It is these things that must help us to remember that he is resting peacefully in Jesus waiting for the return of his Savior! This Life is an interesting adventure. Sometimes painful. Sometimes joyful!! Yet, it is always a journey we take gratefully, from the cradle to the grave!! J.C. Alexander traveled this road called life courageously, on his terms, by the Grace of God!! Dad Alexander was a true man of God who had a Relationship with Our Lord that propelled him through this life with the fortitude of a man who Loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! It was a quiet faith that manifested itself in his generosity, his kindness, and concern for other people!! He loved and worked hard for his family!! But he also loved his Neighbors!! You couldn’t visit the Alexander home, without leaving with something from his garden (as long as they were ready to be picked)!! Yes, he was very particular about his garden!! As we continue down this path of life we pray that there is someone that can boost our spirits; a touch, a voice to sometimes help lift the weight of life, to ease our burdens, to ease our burdens, to bring us back to the reality of love and its transformative power!! Dad Alexander was that person for many folks!! He was never talkative or preachy, about his love for his family and his fellowman!! Yet, Dad Alexander had the capacity to love in this way!! He would also tell it like it is!! If he thought your words or actions didn’t sit well with him, he would let you know!! He was genuine, down to earth, just Real!! He always knew everyone in the neighborhood and always had time to stop chat and encourage!! I thank God that I have a relationship with my Sistah Friend Alice Alexander (Aunty A)!! My Prayer 🙏🏽 partner. And through Alice I came to love and know Dad Alexander!! I call him this because Mister just didn’t sit well!! So Dad Alexander it was and is and ever will be!! I remember those scrumptious meals Alice made for her beloved Father, her Dad!! The time has come when we can no longer see his smile, hear his laugh, touch his hand, or get one of those comforting hugs!!! We realize that his love and all these things have been quieted!! Because Dad is Resting in Jesus!! Hallelujah, we Thank God for creating us with the capacity to remember!! We are unique creations of God, because we can remember and imagine!! Praise God for the Memories of Dad Alexander!! Memories of the joyful times, times filled with laughter, loving times filled with hugs!! Yes, being human, we will always Miss him and at times our faith might even be somewhat challenged!! Then we look to the Hills from whence cometh our Help. We know Our Help comes from the Lord, and Our Faith is Strengthened and Renewed!! Knowing that Our God Never Changes (There’s no variability in Our God)!! God’s Word is True!! We will see Dad Alexander again, by God’s Grace!! I know All is Well!! We can Celebrate Dad’s Life, for it was a Life well lived; a life filled with Laughter, Hope, Peace, and Most Importantly Love ❤️!! God Bless You Dad and I know You are Resting In Peace!!!

Without the benefit of truly knowing Mr. Alexander first-hand, we can bare witness to his love. Curtis and Diana Alexander have exhibited the type of love that was obviously passed down from exceptional parents, including Mr. Alexander. We are praying for the Alexander family and we offer any support that you may need.
